Bradley MarksState President
Hello FBLA members, advisers, and guests, I am your Illinois FBLA State President, Bradley Marks. Born and raised in Southern Illinois, I have always been taught to work hard. My parents, Todd and Carrie, are both hardworking middle-class citizens that have taught me and my older sister, Emily, that you are entitled to nothing. I started working at the age of 15 years old, and have continued to add to my résumé by taking on any job I can, including leadership positions on political campaigns in my region. Those positions lead me to now, where I serve as Southern Illinois' High School Outreach Coordinator for Governer Bruce Rauner. I am a member of Marion High School's Varsity Baseball Team, Class of 2018 Secretary/Treasurer, Student Council Vice President, a member of Friends in Christ, National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, as well as Founder and President of the Marion High School Young Conservatives Club. I also take part in volunteering at the Boyton Street Community Center where I tutor children, and am a Regional Field Coordinator for the Illinois Rebuild Project. Ultimately, I hope to one day hold public office so I can fulfill my dream of serving the people of these United States of America.
