State Parliamentarian

Hello Illinois FBLA! My name is Abbas Hussain, and I am currently a junior at Wauconda High School. I am thrilled to be serving as your state parliamentarian for this program year! From joining my freshman year, FBLA has provided me with countless opportunities to compete at the state and national level, travel the country, and most importantly, connected me with some of my best friends!
Aside from FBLA, I am involved in many other clubs at Wauconda, such as: HOSA, TRUST, Best Buddies, and Student Council. In my free time, you can find me baking cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other desserts for my family or reading Stephen King novels.
​I also love aimlessly scrolling through my TikTok FYP and Wikipedia articles, typically going down endless rabbit holes. FBLA has provided me with lasting friendships– and I’m so excited to create many more with you while serving on the state officer team this year!
