Hello, Illinois FBLA! My name is Kavin Ramasamy, and I am excited to be serving as your 2025-2026 Illinois State President! I’m a senior at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School from Chicago and have been part of FBLA since my freshman year. FBLA has been a great opportunity for me to meet others across the state and nation and grow as a person. I still remember my shy Freshman self, hesitantly registering for Public Speaking. I didn’t win, but that experience shaped me forever. I gained confidence and found comfort in speaking in front of others over the years, and I owe that transformation to FBLA. I’ve learned many valuable lessons, and I am confident you will too! I’ve truly found a family through FBLA, and have made lifelong memories and relationships that I know will persist forever. This will forever be one of the greatest opportunities that I’ve had the privilege of getting involved in! Outside FBLA, you can find me spending time with family, drinking matcha, or listening to music on a quest for my new favorite song!
