State Secretary

Hello Illinois FBLA! My name is Kavin Ramasamy, and I am a junior at Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago. I am excited to serve as your 2024-25 Illinois State Secretary. After joining FBLA as a timid freshman wanting to learn more about business, I was soon blown away by the diverse array of opportunities that FBLA has to offer.
From public speaking, to leadership and teamwork, I gained many valuable skills through FBLA that I know I will continue to use as I progress beyond high school and into my professional career. I also gained many lifelong friends and memories through FBLA that I know I will cherish forever. I am forever grateful for the impact FBLA has had on me and will stay committed to creating an unforgettable experience for other members.
Outside of FBLA, I love running, reading, visiting new places, and spending time with family and friends. I also love listening to new music and am in a constant search for my new favorite song.
