Treasurer

Hi IL FBLA my name is Ruth Okedina and I’m super excited to serve as your state treasurer for the 2024-2025 school year!
I am a senior at Wauconda High School which is located in the Northern Area. FBLA has truly shaped who I am from a shy freshman who stayed in hope of receiving a limo ride to nationals to now being a confident senior who is willing to attend any FBLA event without a promised limo.
I have been able to meet so many amazing people through this organization, learn how to public speak, and understand specific business skills that can help me in my career.
Besides FBLA, I’m also a part of the track team where I sprint and long jump, NHS, and a Mathnasium tutor. You can also find me reading, baking, re-watching Aladdin, buying and building Lego sets, or spending time with my friends and family.
Some other fun facts about me is I hate cheese, my favorite color is green, and I love matcha.
