Hi IL FBLA my name is Lucylar Chen and I’m super excited to serve as your state treasurer for the 2025-2026 school year! I am a senior at Warren Township High School which is located in the Northern Area. FBLA has truly shaped who I am from a shy Freshman, who only joined in hopes of bedazzling my resume, to becoming a more positive and outgoing Senior who fell in love with FBLA and all it has to offer. I 100% encourage you to join FBLA because it changes you for the better. I have been able to meet so many amazing people through this organization, learn how to public speak, and learned to be comfortable with the uncomfortable (it’s a learning process!). Besides FBLA, I’m also a part of the varsity tennis team, Students of Service (SOS), Cancer Kids First, NHS, and Women in Stem & Engineering (WISE) as well as math team! You can also find me reading manwha late at night, at Royal Thai (my favorite restaurant because all my friends work there), spending money, buying and building Lego sets, or spending time with my friends and family. Some other fun facts about me is I can say the alphabet backwards, my favorite color is purple, and I love thai tea.​Once again I can’t wait to serve and meet all of you this year!
