Videographer

Description
Illinois FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is searching for a Videographer for its Fall Leadership Retreat on Saturday, November 2 in Tinley Park, IL and Romeoville.

The videographer will shoot video of the attendees (high school students) at the conference doing fun and interesting things and put the best clips together in a video lasting 4 minutes or more. The video does not need sound so that makes the project much easier. Important: the videographer must encourage/coach students in some circumstances to do fun gestures and interesting poses, to make the video clips more interesting. Sometimes students can do this all by themselves. Some clips can be natural, uncoached video. The video clips would be given to the Conference Media Director for use in future video projects. The best candidates will have creativity in shooting, along with the comfort and ability to encourage students into making interesting poses or gestures. Candidates should review the sample videos to see if they can achieve the style we are looking for: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1N7SmXp3lEqw07GxYyn-LFu2OPweF0c_t?usp=sharing

Notes:
Creative camera shots are encouraged.
The two locations (Tinley Park Convention Center and Scene 75 in Romeoville) are 23 miles apart, so travel would be required one time (beginning vs. end of day).  The videographer can take a school bus from the Convention Center to Scene 75 if desired.
Video can be transferred to media coordinator 2 weeks after event.

Schedule:
9:15 am - 12 pm: Shooting in Tinley Park, IL @ Tinley Park Convention Center
12 pm - 1:45 pm:  Lunch Break
2 pm - 4:45 pm: Shooting in Tinley Park, IL @ Tinley Park Convention Center
4:45 pm - 5:45 pm: Travel and dinner break

5:45 pm - 9:00 pm: Shooting in Romeoville, IL @ Scene 75

Compensation: $300
